This is a completely customized St Louis Cardinals wedding cake topper ordered by one of our customers.
They would like their topper to look like the Chicago cubs wedding cake topper, except that the groom in St Louis Cardinals hat and jersey.
Their wedding date is October 9, 2010. They would like the banner at the bottom to read Rob & Tiffany October 9, 2010, groom in tux pants and black flip flops and bride in ivory dress with a sweetheart neckline. We currently live in Hawaii (I know what you must be thinking...HAWAII...awesome!) However, we were both born and raised in Illinois, Rob is from the south end of the state near St. Louis and I am from the North near Chicago....this is where the Cubs/Cardinals rivalry comes from! Rob works for the US Navy as a submarine mechanic and I am a special education teacher working with high school students with learning and behavioral difficulties. We met in beautiful Hawaii in 2006. We are both very laid back and easy going people. We enjoy just about all outdoor activities and have a tendency to be goofballs most of the time!
As for our wedding, we are having a destination wedding....in Wisconsin. We have invited over 300 of our closest family and friends and would like to share as much of our personalities as possible on our wedding day. We have not actually chosen the design for the cake but have it narrowed down to either a simple one color frosted cake or carrying a cubs/cardinals theme onto the cake as well. The colors for the wedding are chocolate, sage and eggplant...aka....brown, green and purple!!!
