Our wedding date is May 19, 2012. My fiancé and I were introduced online and had our first date at a coffee shop. We instantly hit it off and are getting married two years later! My fiancé, Jeff, is a man with many many hobbies! It definitely makes who he is and it has made our dates interesting!
We first hit it off at the coffee shop when talking about his passion for photography. I majored in graphic arts and so we both got excited talking Photoshop lingo. Some of our next few dates were hikes in which we enjoyed sharing our love for nature. He would bring his camera along and we began to joke about his "other girlfriend, the camera". Our first kiss happened in the woods next to a waterfall while it was snowing.
I first knew he loved me after dating 2 months (before he said it out loud) when he took me to the Ky Speedway and let me drive his prized 'Vette around the race track at top speeds. This was especially awesome of him because I had never driven a stick and he had to give me lessons in the parking lot beforehand. Scary! Wow. This is love.
Jeff is also a gun enthusiast and while I was a bit scared of learning this, I became more interested in this hobby of his. He taught me all of the safety procedures with handling a gun and before we knew it, we were having dates at the indoor range.
Since we have gotten engaged, he has sadly sold his beloved car to have additional resources for us in our new married life. What a sacrifice. I would love to have a cake topper that shows his love for photography, his beloved red corvette, and passion for guns.
