This is a completely customized Shrek and Fiona Thanksgiving Day parade balloons wedding cake topper ordered by one of our customers.
The groom and bride got engaged in front of the Shrek Thanksgiving Day Parade balloon so they wanted a cake topper that looked like the Shrek and Fiona balloon with balloon handlers underneath. They do not want the Shrek and Fiona balloons to resemble groom or bride. The parade is their absolute favorite and they go down every year on Thanksgiving Eve to see the balloons to be inflated. So the image in their head basically is of Shrek and Fiona balloon in the air at the Thanksgiving Day parade…That is why they was thinking of the balloon handlers on the bottom. They would like Shrek to be in a tux and Fiona in a wedding dress with veil. Bride dress is ivory and strapless, they wanted Fiona to wear the same ivory and strapless dress to match hers.
However we can’t make floating Shrek and Fiona, the material we use is clay, they are too heavy to float in the air. So we designed a hook to hang Shrek and Fiona figurines at their backs. At the first sketch, we even made the two small people on the base dress as wedding attires, but the bride didn’t like the design, she thought two brides and two grooms might be a little too much. She just wanted the people on the base to be dressed like balloon handlers.
