This is a completely customized fighting position sharing kiss Devils wedding cake topper ordered by one of our customers.
Crazy fans of hockey game and want to incorporate your favorite team into your wedding? Here is a sample to help you design your topper. Thanks Jeremy and Jill for sharing their great design for their topper. Enjoy their story!
My name is Jeremy Curcio, and my fiance Jill, and I are getting married on September 22, 2012. We would like to have you make us a custom cake topper. We are huge hockey fans, and bigger New Jersey Devils fans. We are having a 2-foot tall Stanley Cup as our grooms cake and our wedding colors are based off of their altenate jerseys! We attended our first game together about 5 months after we began dating. Over the next 4-years we made the trip from Baltimore, MD to Newark, NJ for at least a dozen games, including Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals this past spring. We have also ventured to visit The Capitals and The Rangers in the regular season, and braved The Flyers in the first round of the playoffs in 2010! Hockey is probably one of the strongest glues that keeps us together.
While both of us enjoy the speed, precision, and skill required to play the game, we also enjoy the fights (and who could blame us?) This is where the theme for our topper comes from. We think it'd be cute if we were standing at center ice with our sticks and gloves laying on the ice around us. We will be in the fighting position, but instead of trading punches, we will be sharing a kiss together. We think that this will express our love for each other, while sharing with our guests our sense of humor and our love of the sport.
We will both be wearing jerseys from the Devils as our shirts, she will have her wedding dress under her jersey and I will have my tuxedo pants on. She will be on the left wearing #9 and I will be on the right wearing #22. So that from the side view our sleeve numbers will read 9-22, our wedding date.
I have attached photos of us to this email, and a photo of the jersey that we would be wearing. Looking forward to hearing from you.
