I'm having this topper made as a surprise for my fiance for our wedding. Barry and I met in high school. We dated on and off for 8 years then went our separate ways. Now, 28 years later we're getting married!
I was on the Pom Pon squad at a pep rally when he first noticed me and he's always said he fell in love with me the moment he saw me. He played on the school baseball team. He says one of his favorite memories was of me sitting on the side of a hill watching him play. I was wearing a dress and white Keds with a headband pulling my hair back. He says I looked like Olivia Newton John in Grease (that's one of his favorite movies now).
When we were growing up, Barry drove a Buick Regal with a 231 V8 motor. He LOVED that car, loved working on it and still wishes he had it. He feels 231 is a lucky number for him so I'd like to add that to the topper (in different forms in more than one place if it makes sense). Since we dated in high school he has become a big Detroit Red Wings fan and has even made a fan out of me. He proposed to me at the Joe Louis Arena during a hockey game by arranging for me to be picked for Red Wings trivia even though I knew NOTHING about hockey at the time. The "trivia" question on the jumbo tron was "Cheryl will you marry me? Love Barry"! If possible, I'd like to have a jumbo tron on the topper too. I'd like Barry dressed in jeans wearing an Yzerman 19 Red Wings jersey with the Red Wings winged wheel and a "C" on the front.
Barry is an avid bow hunter so I'd like to have him holding his bow.
As far as me, I'd like to have a red and white pom pon (or cheerleader) outfit with white Keds type tennis shoes (can you give me shapely legs and the same type of shoes as the girl in pink in the Fitness Trainer topper?). I'd like my hair pulled back in a headband, bangs parted in the middle. I wear glasses. Perhaps for some "movement" Barry could have his arm around my waist and I could have a pom pon up in the air? I'm also into photography if that can be incorporated.
